Honey Creek Woodlands - Conservation Burial Grounds for All People

Honey Creek Woodlands (HCW) at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit is Georgia's first Conservation Burial Ground. The Monastery developed this Natural Burial Ground in the heart of the its 2100-acre forest. HCW is a 30-acre tract that is nestled into more than 500 acres of permanently protected wetlands and wooded streams.

To visit the site you must make an appointment in advance. The steward will meet you at the grounds, provide a tour of the land, provide detailed information, and answer any questions you may have.
